With Sunday being the official release day of Spore here in the USA, This is the official I got Spore thread. Post your first impressions of it since opening the box and installing! I won't be getting my copy for a few days, I pre-ordered at the EA store and since it is being released on a Sunday, I don't expect to get my copy till probably Wednesday since EA most likely will not ship it on Sunday.

Ive had it since sunday and it is really neat, i'm trying to get through Space Stage at the moment (i'm currently "The Great") Has anyone made it to the center of the universe yet?

I finally got mine too that I preordered from the EA Store, It came this week when I was away, did not get a chance to install it but plan to do so today!

i got spore monday but i can't install it yet i have to get home to my gaming computer.

Got it as well, over all I'm very pleased with it - tried several created species trying to get omnivore so I could see the evolution features and finally just went into the creature creator to have a look-see. As far as game progress goes, I got a from the tide pool to outerspace with one species that cosmetically are my favorite and will play again. Another species did better score-wise but are just so...err... well, let's just say that they'd be townies if this were the Sims 2.
I'd highly recommend this game - I can definitely see that I'll get my fifty something dollars worth out of play-time.

I really Enjoy this game! It's really fun! =P I currently am on the Space stage, with my first creature, Tribal Monster =O. Weird name, I know xD
